Bob Lenz

Bob went to McCann Erickson as an assistant Art Director in the early 60’s directly from the University of Illinois.

By ‘67 he was lured into the revolving door of Grey Advertising.

He returned to McCann Erickson in 1970 to work with Bill Backer.

Together they produced the "Sunset" Miller Time campaign for Miller High Life and the “Tastes Great/Less Filling” campaign for Miller Lite.

In ’79 Bob joined Backer & Spielvogel, a new agency.

It was bought by Saatchi in ‘87 and merged with Ted Bates.

Bob became President of the merged entity.

Bob left the ad business in 1992 to return to painting, which had been his real love all along.
