Joan Lemler

Joan began her career in advertising 30 years ago, starting as an assistant account executive, and working her way up to Business Director.  She has worked at major agencies, including her last 11 years at J Walter Thompson.

Joan supervised well known OTC brands like Sudafed, Benadryl, and Zyrtec.  And spent so much time on accounts like Pepcid, Zantac, Rolaids and Imodium, she was nicknames GI Joan for a while.

Joan also was the lead on many prescription brands, including overseeing several DTC campaigns for Lyrica.

Now retired, she is able to return to her first love, photography.  She is an officer at an artist run gallery in New York, SOHO PHOTO, where she has had several solo shows of her urban and industrial photographs.

Joan lives with her husband, Ken and dog, Pooh, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
