9/11 New York City 8:00 am on September 11, 2001. Folks were getting off trains, reading The New York Times,
and walking to work at the World Trade Center. It was business as usual.

8:40 am American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston crashes into the North Tower.

9:03 am United Airlines Flight 175 crashes into the South Tower.

9:37 am Hijackers aboard American Flight 77 crash into the Pentagon.

10:03 am Hijackers aboard American Flight 93 crash in a rural field in Shanksville, PA.

A total of 2,996 people were killed and more than 6,000 were injured that tragic day. It was the deadliest event for Firefighters and Law Enforcement in US history.

SEAL TEAM 6 - 11:00 pm - May 1, 2011. Stealth Black Hawks lifted off from Jalabad, Afghanistan on the mission of their life... to take out the mastermind behind 9/11, Osama bin Laden.

PRESIDENT OBAMA watched in horror in the Situation Room as the first chopper hit the compound wall and skidded uncontrollably. Another chopper made an unplanned landing in the desert. Seal Team 6 was meticulously trained with weeks of preparation. In the blackest of nights with no more than stars to show them the way they blasted through the entrances. Flashes of light. Adrenalin rush. Terror. With unavoidable conflicts below, they climbed to the third floor. The first Seal shot a tall swarthy bearded man in a prayer cap.

1:00 am May 2, 2011 Osama bin Laden hit the floor from the killer shot to his head. “For God and Country... Geronimo. Geronimo. Geronimo.”

PAYBACK First responders, at the decimated Twin Towers, 5,300 in all, now have 2,620 proved eligibility cases for cancer related illnesses - almost as many victims as the initial strike. And the numbers keep climbing. What price revenge? To kill Osama bin Laden gave the American people satisfaction. They cheered, “We got him”. But there is no timeline that can restore the time lost with loved ones forever, on that day of crumbling fire that will be emblazoned in our memory always. There is no way to fill the hole in our heart that dug deep on September 11, 2001.

GOD BLESS THOSE WHO BRAVELY PROTECT US. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR EVERLASTING FREEDOM.
